to install the hardware. Once you plug the My Internet Phone into an available USB slot in the back of
the computer, the New Hardware Found Wizard will appear on the screen and complete the hardware
driver installation.
During the driver installation, the system may ask for a file called QNload.sys. You can browse to the
file which will be located in c:\ProgramFiles\Quicknet\InternetSwitchBoard\Win2K. Once you have
located the file, double click on it and the installation will continue.
It may be necessary to insert the Windows Operating System CD during the hardware installation if full
USB support was not installed with the O/S. It is advised that you have your Windows Operating
System CD handy in case it is needed. If you don't have your Windows Operating System CD, go to
www.microsoft.com and perform a site search for USB support. You will find information necessary for
installing USB devices on your operating system.
Once the My Internet Phone has been installed, you can check to see that it has been properly assigned
in the system by checking the Device Manager. In the Device Manager it will be listed under 3 places as
follows:
· Human Interface Devices / My Internet Phone

· Universal Serial Bus Controllers / My Internet Phone Composite USB Device
If it is not listed in all three of these places in the Device Manager you need to upgrade the operating
system to include full USB support.
